Scarpa Phantom Tech Boots

<p>The fully crampon-resistant Scarpa Phantom Tech are alpine mountain boots with integrated gaiters for technically demanding high mountain terrain as well as mixed climbing and ice climbing. In this significantly revised version, the high mountain shoe has lost even more weight compared to its predecessor.</p><p>Thanks to its H-Dry® membrane, the waterproof and breathable expedition mountain boot has a high-quality PrimaLoft® lining for the necessary insulating effect in the freezing cold. The gaiter also offers perfect protection against wetness, snow, ice and wind thanks to the diagonally running, water-repellent zipper and tight-fitting shaft closure. Below the gaiter, a light and extremely robust upper material is prepared for the hard use in the high mountains. The High Altitude insole offers additional cold protection with an upper layer of micropile textile and an integrated aluminium layer to reflect the foot heat – its underside is made of damping medium density memory foam.</p><p>For optimum torsion control and power transmission to the edges and toe, the sole construction is equipped with a lightweight carbon insole made up of several layers. The lower and upper sides of the insole are made of damping and insulating EVA. Sturdy TPU crampon mounts at the front and back, the high-quality PU midsole and the Vibram® Mont profile sole ensure reliable performance of the Phantom Tech in all alpine challenges above the tree line.</p>
