<p>The Scarpa F1 XT is an exceptionally lightweight ski touring boot, yet it offers several advantages not only on the ascent but also on the descent. Provided you have experience in ski mountaineering, the clever shell function offers you actual all-around performance.</p><p>In walk mode, for example, the F1 XT scores with a shaft rotation of 72°, which, viewed from the centre axis, is made up of 25° to the front and 47° to the rear – so you can also optimally implement more difficult manoeuvres in steep terrain and walking with crampons. Mobility is supported by the Overlap Shield Tech gaiter, which is flexible and comfortably aligned with the tongue.</p><p>Two detailed adjustable buckles, supported by a steel cable in the lower part of the boot, the strong Carbon Grilamid LFT® shaft and the Power Strap System create the best hold in downhill mode and give you very good control over the ski under any conditions.</p><p>The integrated Recco® reflector facilitates a professional search in an emergency.</p>
